According to the Wheat Foods Council (www.wheatfoods.org), bulgur is “white or red, hard or soft, whole wheat kernels that have been soaked, boiled, dried, then removing 5 percent of the bran and cracking the remaining kernel into small pieces. The result is par-cooked, cracked wheat. Bulgur differs from cracked wheat in that it is pre-cooked....Bulgur adds fiber, protein and complex carbohydrate to the diet.”Getting the bulgur to Bohoc has been just one of many things happening at HAFF right now. The Young Leaders for God class was graduated Saturday May 15th and the Godly Woman class will be graduated May 29th. Finally, the HAFF staff is in the midst of a series of meetings with teachers, parents, students and the community. Please keep us all in prayer, Haitian and American alike at this extremely busy time of the year.
