Scripture in School in Haiti?

Yes! The HAFF Executive Committee (EC) in Haiti has chosen to share their theme verses, Colossians 3:12-17, with the students at school.

The last week of classes before spring break, the EC posted verses from the book of John on most of the doors at school. This inaugurated a program at IPB of posting new verses several times per month. The verses, from Colossians 3 and others, are posted in various languages. The verses might be in French, Haitian Creole, Spanish, English, even Latin or German or Arabic! Some verses are posted without their references, so the students need to look them up. Teacher, pastor, EC Member and IPB graduate Maccène Limpreux commented on the program, “I think this is a good idea, we need to keep doing this. The Gospel is our food, our daily bread. This will also help students find their favorite verses.”
