| 2014 Philo class praying in 2013 for their Rheto exam. |
Whenever
an IPB student is asked for a prayer request, success on the
national exams is first on the list, even when the student is not due
to take a national exam that year. Thank you so much for your prayers
for this year's students as they took their national exams. So, how
did they do?
IPB
sent fourteen students to the ninth grade exams. Thirteen passed and
only one failed.
IPB
sent 27 students to the Rheto (twelfth grade) exam. Four students
passed and 19 may take the exam again starting August 25th.
Sadly, four failed and will have to wait till next year to retake the
exam.
IPB sent 30 students to the Philo
(thirteenth grade) exam. Nine students passed and 20 may take the
exam again starting August 25th. Only one student failed
and will have to wait till next year to retake the exam.
Join the IPB staff and the community in
thanking God with the students who passed their national exams and
can now go on to their next year of school. Please pray for the 19
Rheto students and 20 Philo students as they prepare to re-take the
national exams on August 25th. And please lift up the ones who did
not pass as they consider what to do next – repeat the year or
leave school to pursue other options.
