Another school year at BTI is over. Finals for the 7th, 8th, 10th and 11th grades are being corrected. The 9th, 12th (Rheto) and 13th (Philo) grades are waiting to take their National Exams. Friday, 15 June the 9th grade, Rheto and Philo classes held a prayer and praise service before their big exams.
Student motivated, student planned and student led, the service combined praise and adoration with supplication. Please pray for these students as they travel to and then take their National exams. They have worked hard. Please pray that they would be calm and be able to remember all they have studied. The 9th grade will be testing in Pignon starting 19 June and finishing 21 June. The Rhetos taking the class for the first time will be taking their exam in Grand Riviere du Nord ( near Cap Haitien) 25 through 27 June. The Philos taking the class for the first time will be taking their exam at the same time and place as the Rhetos, but will have an extra day of exams. The Rhetos taking the class for the second time will take their test in Grand Riviere du Nord 2 through 4 July.
They will be traveling the day before and the day after exams, for the most part. Please pray for Bos Elizert, HAFF's Chauffeur as he takes the students to and from their exams. The roads are in terrible shape and it is rainy season. Pray for safety on the roads and across the rivers and up and down the mountains.
BTI was chosen once again to be one of the testing centers for the National Exam, called the Certificate Exam, at the end of Primary School. Approximately 200 students from about 8 local primary schools gathered 12 and 13 June for 2 full days of testing.
Some of these students will be returning to BTI in September as new 7th graders.
