Pastor David Rogers, of Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC) of Cape Coral, Florida, is demonstrating the finer points of winnowing freshly roasted peanuts that will be used to make peanut butter. HAFF has been blessed with many great teams already this year that came to minister to, and learn from, our Haitian brothers and sisters here in rural Haiti. One of the learning experiences HAFF offers is a series of mini-lectures on aspects of Haitian culture. HAFF ministry team member Madame Destorel Docteur had been teaching the group about the role of women in Haiti while showing the EPC team, and visitors Bill and Matthew Hoogstrate from Grand Rapids, Michigan, how to make peanut butter.
