HAFF's Young Leaders for God class seeks to train young men and women in what it means to be a servant leader. Young people selected for this course meet twice a week in a round-table discussion format focusing on class topics and life application. They study Biblical examples of servant leadership while learning principles such as self-discipline, purity, Christian character, Bible study techniques, and more. Students also participate in service projects in their community to apply the principles learned in the class. Earlier this month, students were learning about the Internet. Class coordinator Derold Mompremier (left) invited a trainer, Fucien Dezima (right) from World Vision, to teach the class. Students also participated in two sessions about the environment, and then set to work on Saturday, May 3, to clean up litter on the school grounds.
