Sharing Knowledge, Blessing Others

Madame Gesson Azeme, HAFF's
Godly Woman Class coordinator, poses here with Dr. Andrea Lohnes, a veterinarian from Canada, who recently visited HAFF.  The rug they are holding was made by a woman who had learned the technique from Madame Gesson during a Bible Study in Riske.  Madame Gesson had learned it while she was a student in The Godly woman class from Madame Bibine, who lives in Bohoc. Madame Bibine had originally learned the technique from former HAFF missionary Jody Daby when she and her family served at HAFF years ago.

And the chain of sharing information to bless others continues.  The woman who made this rug was one of many Madame Gesson taught that day.  But what she learned stayed with her, and she set to work making this beautiful rug.  She later placed it on consignment  at HAFF's gift store, Zandolit, where the handicrafts of many local people are available to visitors.   Madame Gesson was happy that what she taught that day ultimately blessed the woman and her family with needed cash, and Dr. Lohnes with a beautiful rug.
