Prayer Request

Mme Gesson is the beloved coordinator of HAFF's Godly Woman class. She does a wonderful job balancing her work with the ladies and her role at home as wife and mother of 3 children.

Her husband, Fr Gesson, is a skilled basket maker who teaches that art to the Godly Woman class each year. In their family, he is also responsible for their garden. And he runs a motorcycle taxi to help make ends meet.

A number of years ago, he was kicked in the head by a mule and was blinded in the eye on that side. Now, he has just had a motorcycle accident and injured his remaining good eye. Mme Gesson said he has quite a bit of pain. He was taken to the hospital in Pignon, and they referred him on to a hospital in Port-au-Prince. Normally that is a good 4 hour trip from Pignon.

But, God, in His grace, provided a spot on a plane flying to Port-au-Prince out of Pignon and he was able to fly rather than drive. What a blessing. Madame will follow him down by road and see to his needs there.

Please keep this wonderful couple and their children in your prayers. Please pray that the doctors would be given wisdom to help him and that he and Mme Gesson would be comforted by His presence.
