How Did Things Turn Out for the Philo Class?

A phone call to Colin Wilson elicited the following update to the July 12th post.

• The Philo class national exam had not been held in Grande Riviere du Nord, as the US staff at HAFF had thought. There had been a change made, so the test was held in St Raphael, which is much closer to home.
• The money and wood arrived safely Friday, July 12th and the students finished their exams and were back home by Tuesday afternoon, July 23rd. A number of the students expressed their appreciation of the assistance sent by HAFF.
• As far as Colin has heard, the national exams for all the students went well. In fact, some of the 9th graders said their exam was easy!

Thank you all so much for your prayers for these exams. Please continue to pray for the people correcting and grading the exams now. Pray that the results will be available well before the start of the next school year and will accurately reflect the abilities of the students who took the exams.
