The team was at HAFF on a Godly Woman class day, and so visited the class. The team introduced themselves to the women and each woman in the class introduced herself to the team. Then, each team member shared their favorite Bible verse with the ladies.

The class was already working with embroidery floss that day, learning how to do the detailed embroidery for which the local women are known. Working one on one, the visiting girls taught the Godly Woman class how to make the bracelets.

Madame Gesson said, “the bracelets are pretty. The women were very interested to make the bracelets and learned to make them quickly. The bracelets they made are in their boxes now, to be shown in the exhibition at graduation!”

Embroidery floss can be found in the local markets and in stores in the larger towns. A skein of floss sells for about twice or two and a half times the price of bulk packs of inexpensive floss at a store like WalMart in the US. Even so, as the women perfect their abilities, they should be able to sell bracelets to help with their family income.
